Chris Collins has been an Elvis Tribute Artist since 2017. Beginning his career in Laurens, SC and now living in Memphis, he has performed in several states and has performed over 200 shows. Chris was awarded 3rd place in the first annual King of Memphis contest at Dad’s Place in Memphis in 2020 as well as placing Top 10 in Tupelo in 2023.

two of his great loves, acting and singing, and he loves the interaction between himself and music and the crowd when he’s on stage. And he said, being on stage, paying tribute to the world’s greatest performer is the thrill of a lifetime. Before he has come in third place in the 2020 King of Memphis contest, and he said his father recently began performing as a Neil Diamond tribute artist, and his whole family is involved in the industry in one way or another.Those are some interesting dinners, I bet, don’t you? I bet that’s all. Yes, they are. Yes, they are, that’s his mom, Dolly Parton, back there.And you know, he’s also got a featured role on ABC’s Women of the Movement miniseries, and he also performs, when he’s not an Elvis tribute artist, he’s a Weird Al tribute artist as well, because why the hell not, you know? He’s doing a song that Elvis recorded written by James Taylor. Elvis did it in 1973 on the Aloha from Hawaii album, and it took me almost 25 years to figure out what Elvis was saying during this one part, because back then, he didn’t have Google, and Elvis didn’t have lyrics in his albums, and so I can’t even tell you what I thought he was saying.
